Sweet Sister Lizzy Sing Me a Sweet Song of Joy

Music has always been a really big part of my life, what with piano, voilin, singing, and dancing that I've been a part of. My family loves music as well so I've also grown up with it throughout my life. I've used it to escape the world, to express myself, to calm myself down, and to rejuvinate my spirit just to name a few. When ever Matt and I watch a movie he'll comment on how the music is so I've been noticing it a lot more myslef. I just finished watching Chronicles of Narnia the 2nd one and the song at the very end of the movie right before the credits is just unbelievable. It's called The Call by Regina Spektor and if you have a minute you should listen to it, it's at the beginning of my music playlist on my blog. There's also another song that just tickeled the ivory of my heart strings (sorry, working my grave) it's from the new movie Twilight and it's called Bella's Lullaby. This song is also on my music playlist and I just can't explain how much I love these songs. They make me want to cry and yet I feel really happy when I listen to them. Isn't music absolutely wonderful?

I. I also love music. I LOVE the song that you mentioned, The Call. Yes, I am quite the fan. I just wish that it wasn't one of those songs on iTunes that requires you to buy the whole dang album. Bah. Der you go. Also- Your blog is lovely. Also- YOU're lovey. And...I love you.

Good choices! I love those songs as well... For me music is the first thing about a movie I notice and for me it can make or break it! I also love the call (and have it if anyone wants it)... I also love the song that plays while they attack the castle in Prince caspian... the violins have amazing arpeggios. Also, another movie that I thought had great music was Australia, but sadly the score hasn't come out on itunes yet

It makes me happy to read your feelings about music. When you were little and I wanted you to learn to play the piano and violin, I remembered that music gave me the same gifts you described and I wanted you to have that too. You were always easy to teach- your love of music showed from the very beginning. When we heard your beautiful voice we were thrilled. Heaven gave you your talents. We love it when you share them with us.
